I went here and had the best experience of my 9 lives. Matter a fact if I had another 10 I’d waste it ALL on this experience. 10/10 customer service I had felt like a king these people really know who to treat their customers chef KISS. It was absolutely heaven on earth. My truck had gotten the master mind experience shined to a brim. I WILL be coming back matter a fact. We need all 8 billion people coming here 12pm sharp.

Amazing experience.

I received a bad jump, which caused an electrical system failure. After diagnosing it myself, I found several blown fuses. I tried to repair them on my own but realized I needed professional help. On a friend's recommendation, I had my vehicle towed to Round Rock Auto Center. While loading it onto the tow truck, the driver and I had to temporarily swap in two higher-amperage fuses just to get the car to start so we could shift it into neutral. The following Monday, I met with Corey to go over the issues: multiple blown fuses, the two fuses we'd temporarily replaced with higher-amperage ones, a fusible link block that needed replacing (which I supplied myself from the Toyota dealership), and the car not starting. He kindly nodded and assured me, "Don't worry, the diagnostic will uncover all that," and that "everything will be returned as it should be." I believed him. That was my mistake. A couple of weeks and multiple false "it'll be ready tomorrow" promises later, I finally got my car back. Corey mentioned a few remaining "anomalies" — a non-functional radio, an airbag light, and a brake light — and suggested I might need a whole new radio and an ABS module replacement. Fine, I thought, as long as the car is running and safe, I can deal with the rest. He looked me in the eye and reassured me it was safe to drive. That mattered, because I had a trip to Houston coming up. My God, that car was not safe. None of my lights were working. The two fuses we had temporarily swapped to higher amperage were never replaced, which means I was driving around with a potential electrical fire waiting to happen. I discovered all of this at dusk, on the road, when multiple vehicles nearly collided around me because they literally could not see my car. I had to sleep in my vehicle until dawn just to safely finish my trip. I spent my entire weekend troubleshooting fuses myself — because they never touched the fuse box. Not once. Every single issue traced back to blown fuses, including the radio and the ABS/brake lights, which were fixed simply by replacing a fuse and the fusible link block. Problems that should have taken them twenty minutes. This experience has left me convinced their competence is smoke and mirrors. Who tells a customer a car is safe to drive without doing basic checks? Am I supposed to be my own quality assurance department? I am furious that I had to find out on a dark highway, with cars swerving around me, that the people I trusted with my safety didn't do the bare minimum. I'm sure they're decent mechanics for other things, but do NOT bring your car here for electrical issues. You will get a half-assed job, get overcharged for something that could've been a five-minute fuse swap, or worse — you'll be handed an UNSAFE car and told it's fine, putting your life at risk. Less than one star if I could give it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In response to the Owner Response: I agree you sourced the no-start issue, but diagnosing that doesn't mean you fulfilled your duty to assess the vehicle's overall condition. The recommendation you had Corey document listed only: radio not functioning, airbag light on, and brake light on. Nowhere on that list are the headlights, taillights, blinkers, or dashboard illumination — basic, safety-critical components that any reputable shop should catch, especially after electrical work and especially for nighttime driving. Yes, I said I needed the car "starting and driving" — but I also asked, in person, if it was safe to drive, and you looked me in the eye and told me it was. Your team knew I was driving to Houston that weekend. Had you disclosed these issues, I would have left the vehicle with you to finish the repairs instead of accepting it back. I'm not disputing you deserve payment for your work — what's unacceptable is failing to catch and disclose safety defects before returning a vehicle you knew was headed out of town and lying to the customer about work (via replacing fuses back to its original amperage).

I had a wonderful experience with Round Rock Auto Center. I had just gotten my car back after two months with a different transmission specialist & something still felt off. They listened to my concerns and got me in with a next morning appointment without hassle. They were quick, provided a comprehensive breakdown of their work (which I loved) that showed with pictures of where the problems were. They quickly noticed my transmission plate hadn't been twerked & that loose connection was causing the delay in driving. The staff were friendly and hospitable as I ended up needing to wait for a ride and camped out to work in their reception area. Overall I felt they were honest, did thorough work and personable. I'm new to the area but this will be my preferred auto shop - sorry guys, you're stuck with me!

I went to Round Rock Auto center to get my state inspection. It was fast in and out. I also had some maintenance due to millage and asked to check that. They were honest on the recommendations and did not try to sell me any service! No appointment was needed!

Amazing service, honest and very trustworthy- have taken my cars to other places that recommend work that’s not needed. Round Rock Auto Center corrects any issue found, debunked the other places “work estimates” and works with us to get it done. Had to bring my car in to fix a break issue from a different shop 1.5 hours prior to closing. They took my car, fixed it all up and were honest about what was actually needed. I was previously told I needed both front and rear brakes. RR auto confirmed I only need the front. Excellent customer service and quality repairs.

Since I didn't have transportation, they even provided me with a loaner vehicle, which made the whole experience much more convenient. I went here for an oil change yesterday. I had a coupon from HEB which brought my total down a bunch! They gave me an option to wait or come back, I chose to come back and they had me in and out!!
